Smalltown Featured Artist: BJ KEMP
Bj Kemp, A multi facited music curator is a San Francisco Bay Area native with rich musical stylings and background. As a singer, and multi instrumentalist, the path is being set to be touted as a well diligent producer & writer. He finds art and ultimate enjoyment out of each phase of the process! To date there are 3 Solo Project releases.
“Adult Conversations” a 6 song EP that will put the listeners in the mind of a throw back way of putting together a synchronized body of work of telling a story in song. “The Moment” is an upbeat positive message single released in 2023. His 3rd and latest single is a remake of “Ready Or Not Here I Come” by the Iconic group The Delfonics originally done in 1969. With this latest single, you can hear the soulfulness of the 70’s, the harmonies of his rich Gospel Quartet background but blended with all of the passion and feeling one can bring.
From years of touring with music legends Raphael Saadiq,
Sheila E, and Ceelo Green to now carving his way into his own lane, BJ Kemp is a quiet force but in route to making a much louder noise!
